Wastini is 28 years old, married, and a mother to a 9-year-old daughter. She has nearly two years of hands-on experience in Singapore caring for frail elderly ah mah. She is able to understand basic English words and instructions, though she cannot communicate fluently due to limited practice.

From 2024 to 2025, she worked for a Chinese employer, providing full-time care to an 85-year-old infirm ah mah. Her responsibilities included assisting with showering, toileting, dressing, medication, and supporting her in walking. She accompanied her to hospital check-ups, supervised light exercise, and ensured her daily comfort. Wastini also prepared simple, nutritious meals such as steamed fish, steamed eggs, fried fish, stir-fried vegetables, and chicken porridge. In addition, she maintained the cleanliness of a 2-bedroom, 2-toilet HDB flat - cleaning rooms, toilets, kitchen, and common areas - ensuring a dust-free and safe environment to reduce health risks and prevent falls.

She is now ready to return to work in Singapore. With her child grown up and understanding the importance of her overseas employment, Wastini has her family’s full support to continue working abroad. She is motivated to earn income for her daughter’s future and is committed to providing diligent care and reliable household support to her next employer.
